PICAYUNE, Miss., Saturday, August 17, 2012 — Memorial services for Lydia M. Kendall, 79, of Picayune, who died Friday, August 16, will be held, Tuesday, August 20, at 6 p.m. in Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Bro. Michael McDaniel will officiate at the service.
A native of New Orleans, she was in sales in the entertainment industry. She was loved by all and known by many monikers, Lydia, Momma, Mamare, Maw Maw, Maw Lydia Chick, and The Old Grey Mare.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James S. Langston and Mae Mary Dugas Langston; her husband, William “Bill” R. Kendall; her son, James E. Kendall; her two brothers, James S. Langston Jr. and Robert B. Langston Sr.
Survivors include: her five children, Susan F. Aucoin and husband Michael, Peter James Schwander Jr. and wife Glenda, David Lincoln and wife Melissa, Judy L. Lambert, and Belinda “Bea” K. Rivers and husband Kevin; her eight grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Rachel Gina, David, Christopher, Kevin, and Bailey “Bae Bae”; her six great-grandchildren, Daisy, Alex, Kyle, Landon, Gracelyn “Mouse”, and Kensley; her brother, John Langston Sr.; her two sisters, Lorraine Miller and Linda Rivers; her sister-in-law, JoAnn Langston; and 22 nieces and nephews.by
